San Diego...Trade first pick?

Whats up everyone! Even though the team needs a safety, inside linebacker, defensive end, and a right tackle, is it worth trading their first pick? All teams have specific needs, but the Chargers aren't exactly in bad shape. Maybe trading down from the No. 16 spot to picks 5, 6, or 7, which could be done to dismantle a team trying to get their hands on a star player is what they see as strategy. However, is this really the way to play the game when the Chargers are one of the best teams in the NFL right now? Since they are interested in players like USC linebacker Rey Maualuga or LSU defensive end Tyson Jackson but how necessary is this? They aren't exactly struggling. The Chargers are either looking into the future without Ladanian Tomlinson or are being plain greedy. I think the overall "game plan" is selfish. Is this how you think the NFL should be represented? It makes no sense to further the gap between teams. what happened to competitive teams all at a reasonable level? Or is that just unrealistic! That's all for today in the Life with Lizard!

24! I want more! 24! I want more! 24!

Everyone always hates Mondays because the week starts and your boss is ragging on you about what you have to get done by the end of the week. And the guy who sits in the next cubicle is typing away like a machine and you can't even figure out where to begin. You woke up late, you missed breakfast except for the half-eaten waffle your kid left before he went to school. Sorry! I know that didn't help but there is hope! Things are looking up because 24 is on tonight! Being a huge fan of 24 since the season began, I was so excited to see Pierce back and Bill with his full head of white hair! How could they let him die? I wasn't very pleased with that but once again they out did themselves and the series makes my Monday the best day of the week! Do you think Renee will become a little closer with Jack? I wonder what will happen with John Voight? Who is he? And how much do you hate the vice president!? That's all for now in Life with Lizard! P.S. Anyone having a bad Monday, pep up Kiefer Sutherland needs us!

Tiger Woods was made for Bay Hill

Hello again Friends!
In response to a comment left to me about Tiger Woods and his unbelievable win at Bay Hill on Sunday; I wanted to discuss the issue. Tiger Woods squatted to study what would be the most difficult putt of the day. The 24-footer would put away the 64th victory for him, and attempt to win 5 consecutive PGA Tour events for the 3rd time in the entire history of the PGA Tour. The putt placed Tiger 1 over to take the win over Bart Bryant. Amazingly, we all know Tiger is the god of golf, but this accomplishment went way beyond that. He is the only player to do this more than once. He really saved the best for last! As we watch him continue to trail blaze his way through golfing history, who knows what’s in store?

By the way, since golf isn't my strong suit, I would just like to note that fashion is. Tiger is so incredibly well put together both on and off the course!

Thats all for now in Life with Lizard!

Who is the future right tackle for the Ravens?

Hi Friends! Some of you may or may not know that I am both a die hard Baltimore Raven's fan and Bruce Springsteen fan (which we can discuss later....) Being born on January 26, 2009 on SuperBowl Sunday, I was born a football fan and it never changed. With the upcoming football draft, I am worried that the Ravens are going to be more than frugal in making their picks for this season. As the draft comes closer and closer, I thought about the Ravens in the past and how they have taken a small interest in protecting their quarterback's front side in past years. "The only tackle selected on draft day by the Raven's prior to the 3rd round over the last 13 years besides Johnathan Ogden, was Adam Terry in 2005 with the 64th overall pick in round 2." So I still want to know who will become the right tackle for the Baltimore Ravens?

On a totally different note, how great was Bruce Springsteen at the SuperBowl and how great will it be when I petition to get him there again, but this time with the Ravens. I am taking donations!!!!

That's all for today in Life with Lizard!
